On the night of Wednesday, April 29, a series of explosions were heard in temporarily occupied Crimea. Several military facilities, including airfields, were under attack at once.

According to local sources, explosions were heard in various areas: in Saksky, Kirovsky, as well as near Feodosia, Sevastopol, and Bakhchisaray.

Most of the reports concern the Kirovskoe, Saki (Novofedorivka) and Gvardiyske airfields. It is likely that these were the main targets.

Eyewitnesses describe several waves of explosions and a subsequent detonation, which could indicate a hit. There is also information that the Russian military tried to lift the aircraft into the air to remove it from the attack.

Separately, there are reports of explosions in the area of the Belbek airfield, where there may also have been hits.

The Russian side confirmed the attack and announced the operation of air defenses.

As a reminder, on the night of Tuesday, April 28, powerful explosions were heard in temporarily occupied Crimea. Drones attacked the peninsula, and explosions were heard in several areas at once.

As reported, drones of the Middle-strike units of the Special Operations Forces on the night of April 28 struck a storage location for Iskander tactical missile systems in Crimea temporarily occupied by Russia.
