On the night of October 17, explosions were heard in occupied Donetsk after unknown drones appeared in the air.

According to local Telegram channels, the first mentions of drones flying in the sky appeared on social media at around 2 a.m. Local residents shared videos showing drones circling over the city.

Later, videos of loud explosions began to appear online. People were urged to stay away from windows and stay in safe places.

Some videos show the glow of a fire, and in the comments, users suggest that an ammunition storage facility has caught fire.

At this time, official sources have not confirmed the details of the incident.

As a reminder, on the night of October 16 , a series of explosions took place in Russian-controlled territory – residents of Saratov report hearing the sounds of impacts in the city . In response, Rosaviatsia announced a temporary suspension of air traffic at the airports of Saratov and Samara.
