CIA Calls Out Kremlin’s ‘Creative Journalism’ on Dubai Attack

The Center for Countering Disinformation has reported the spread of false claims about the supposed destruction of a Ukrainian facility in Dubai. Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs officially denied the reports, confirming that no citizens were harmed.

This was reported by the Central Police Department’s press service.

Information circulated online alleging the destruction of a “storage facility for Ukrainian anti-drone systems” in Dubai, as well as the deaths of 21 Ukrainian specialists in a reported strike.

However, the Center for Countering Disinformation stated that these claims are false.

“Information is spreading online about the alleged destruction of a ‘storage facility for Ukrainian anti-drone systems’ in Dubai. It is claimed that the facility was ‘completely eliminated’ as a result of the strike, and 21 Ukrainian specialists allegedly died with it,” the Center reported.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine also confirmed that no such incidents have occurred.

“No strikes on Ukrainian facilities or deaths of our citizens in Dubai have been recorded,” said Foreign Ministry spokesman Georgy Tykhyi.

The Center for Countering Disinformation emphasized that the spread of such false information is part of an information campaign.

“This claim is being actively replicated by pro-Kremlin resources and is part of the systematic discrediting of Ukraine in the international arena,” the Center noted.

The day before, Iran announced the alleged destruction of a Ukrainian anti-drone system warehouse in Dubai and the possible presence of Ukrainian citizens there. Ukrainian authorities denied these reports and called them disinformation.
