Fatal accident involving law enforcement officers in Kyiv: all the details

Today, August 29, in the center of Kyiv there was a traffic accident involving a police car. There is a fatality.

The capital’s National Police Department reported this.

It is noted that today at about 9:10 at the intersection of Ivana Fedorova and Kazemira Malevicha streets, a Renault car collided with a Mitsubishi service car, which was moving with flashing lights on. As a result, the police car overturned.

“The law enforcement officer who was driving the official car died at the scene of the incident from his injuries, three others received bodily injuries, their condition is stable,” the statement said.

Police officers, State Bureau of Investigation and medical personnel are working at the scene. The capital police leadership has ordered an internal investigation.
