Fedorov and Shmyhal submitted resignations from their positions

On Friday, January 9, Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov and Minister of Defense Denys Shmyhal submitted their resignations.
This was announced by the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk.
According to him, the Verkhovna Rada has already received both statements from the heads of departments.
He added that they will be considered in the near future in accordance with the procedure established by law.
It is expected that Fedorov will become Minister of Defense, and Shmyhal will take over the position of Head of the Ministry of Energy.
Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy proposed that Mykhailo Fedorov head the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
As is known, Zelenskyy suggested that Denys Shmyhal head the Ministry of Energy .
