Fedorov appointed new Defense Minister
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine appointed Mykhailo Fedorov as the new head of the Ministry of Defense.
This became known from the broadcast of the parliament session.
277 deputies voted for this decision.
Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy proposed that Mykhailo Fedorov head the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
As is known, Zelenskyy suggested that Denys Shmyhal head the Ministry of Energy .
And already on January 9, the Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov and the Head of the Ministry of Defense Denys Shmyhal submitted their resignations .
In addition, the Verkhovna Rada supported the resignationof Mykhailo Fedorov from the position of First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Digital Transformation .
