Fiery heat and storm clouds: what will the weather be like this weekend in Ukraine?

Over the coming weekend, July 12–13, forecasters predict the highest temperatures in the east and south of the country, while rain with thunderstorms is possible in the western and central regions.

This is reported by weather forecaster Natalka Didenko.

On Saturday, the greatest heat will be felt in Luhansk, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia, part of Kherson, and in the steppe regions of Crimea. Here, thermometers will rise to +33…+38 degrees.

In the western regions, the air will warm up much less – from +21 to +25 degrees, the forecaster notes.

The north of Ukraine will welcome Saturday with temperatures of +24…+28 degrees, while in the central regions the thermometer will fluctuate between +22 and +35 degrees depending on the specific region. In particular, in Vinnytsia region — +22…+24, Cherkasy and Poltava — +25…+29, in Kropyvnytskyi and districts — +26…+30, and in Dnipropetrovsk region — +30…+35 degrees.

Southern regions are expecting +30…+33 degrees on Saturday, and Zaporizhia and the steppe zone of Crimea are expecting up to +37 degrees.

Regarding precipitation, on July 12, rains with thunderstorms will occur in the west of the country, and in the afternoon they are expected in Sumy, Cherkasy, Poltava, Kharkiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions. The rest of the territory will remain without precipitation, assures Natalka Didenko.

In Kyiv, Saturday will be mostly dry, but rain with thunderstorms is expected closer to the evening.

For Sunday, the weather forecaster predicts that weather conditions in Ukraine will not change significantly.
