FIFA World Cup 2026: where and when to watch

The 2026 FIFA World Cup kicks off on Thursday, June 11. For the first time in the tournament’s history, 48 teams will take part. In the opening match, Mexico will play against South Africa in Mexico City at the city stadium. The game kicks off at 10:00 p.m. Kyiv time.

The match will be broadcast live on the Megogo platform. The game will be available for free viewing on the Megogo Sport TV channel on the T2 network and on most cable operators.

Also in the first round of Group A matches on June 12 at 05:00 in Guadalajara, South Korea and the Czech Republic will meet.

The 2026 World Cup will be held in three countries — Mexico, the United States, and Canada. A total of 48 teams will participate in the tournament, divided into 12 groups of four teams. The top two teams from each group, as well as the eight best third-place teams, will advance to the round of 32.

The composition of the groups of the 2026 World Cup:

Group L: England, Croatia, Panama, Ghana

The World Cup matches will be held in 16 cities. In Canada, Toronto and Vancouver will host the games, in Mexico – Guadalajara, Mexico City and Monterrey, in the USA – Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Seattle.

The opening match will take place on June 11 in Mexico City, with the final game on July 19 in New York.
