Fight with the CCC near Odessa: the crowd stopped the military and overturned their car

On the morning of October 30, a large-scale fight broke out between a group of men and representatives of the Territorial Procurement Center (TPC) near the Odessa Seventh Kilometer market. As a result of the conflict, one of the TPC’s official minibuses was overturned and damaged.

According to Dumska, the incident broke out at around 5:50 a.m. near checkpoint No. 9 on Bazova Street. According to the market’s press secretary Iryna Tkach, the conflict arose between a group of men, probably loaders, and CCC employees who arrived at the scene.

Before the fight began, representatives of the procurement center detained one man and forcibly took him to a company car. This event caused outrage among eyewitnesses – people who were near Ukrposhta and the Hit supermarket.

After a brief exchange of fire, the CCC minibus left the scene, but at around 6:40 a.m., the center’s employees returned in three cars. That’s when the situation escalated — a mass brawl broke out on the street, involving about fifty men.

During the clash, two service cars managed to leave, while the crowd surrounded and overturned the third minibus. According to eyewitnesses, the servicemen were pulled out of the cabin – they were pushed, but no serious beatings were inflicted.

Several police crews arrived at the scene around 7:00 a.m. Law enforcement officers began recording damage to vehicles and checking the documents of those involved in the incident. According to the market, there was no incident directly on its territory.

The police are currently establishing all the circumstances of the incident, and the Security Service of Ukraine is investigating the incident. As of 7:50, the situation had been stabilized — up to five police crews were near checkpoint No. 6, and the crowd had dispersed.

We will remind, in Odessa, a police officer in a state of intoxication threatened servicemen of the territorial recruitment center with a weapon, after which he broke the window of their car.

As previously reported, two servicemen from the territorial recruitment center were attacked in Kryvyi Rih. Both men were hospitalized, one of them in serious condition.
