Finland will allocate 2 million euros for humanitarian aid to Ukraine. The funds will be used to provide food to residents of frontline areas, support displaced people, and prepare for winter.

This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland.

Half of the amount, 1 million euros, will go to the UN World Food Programme. The organisation, together with local partners, will deliver food kits and other essential goods to people living near the front lines.

Finland will also donate another 1 million euros to the UN Refugee Agency. This money will be used to support internally displaced persons and people evacuated from dangerous areas.

Both organizations will also help Ukrainians prepare for the winter period.

Recall that the Netherlands will allocate 26.5 million euros for the reconstruction and development of Ukraine in 2027. The funds are provided within the framework of the Ukraine Partnership Facility (UPF) program, which will be extended next year.
