Russia continues to recruit loyal foreigners to advance its propaganda abroad and create a distorted picture of the war against Ukraine.

This was reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation.

The Central Public Relations Office has drawn attention to Finnish journalist Kosti Heiskanen, who has long collaborated with Russian propaganda structures. This time, he announced a new “documentary” about the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

Heiskanen himself stated that this film is being created specifically for a foreign audience.

He also appeared in a Russian propagandist plot with his “American friend” who allegedly wants to join the Russian army.

The journalist said that it helps him adapt and find a place of service. In fact, he confirmed that he is helping to recruit foreigners into the army of the aggressor state.

The Central Intelligence Agency emphasizes that such activities are part of the Kremlin’s systematic work. This includes not only pseudo-documentaries, but also media support for foreign combatants.

The main goal is to show the Western audience the alleged “international support” for Russia’s actions, justify the war against Ukraine, and improve the image of the aggressor state on the international stage.
