The first battery of Patriot anti-aircraft missiles promised as part of Donald Trump’s new aid package has already arrived in Ukraine.

The Telegraph reports this.

According to the publication, on July 13, Trump announced a $10 billion military aid package for Ukraine. By the end of that week, thanks to agreements between the US and Germany, Patriot air defense systems and interceptor missiles had arrived in Ukraine.

It is the first of a series of promised deliveries that are expected to bolster Ukraine’s air defenses amid heavy Russian shelling.

Ukraine has previously received Patriot systems from the United States, Germany, and the Netherlands. Their deployment allows for more effective interception of ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as protection of key cities and infrastructure facilities.

Let us recall that the US State Department has approved two new military aid packages for Ukraine . One of them concerns the HAWK air defense systems, the other one concerns the restoration of Bradley infantry fighting vehicles.

By the way, the Cabinet of Ministers announced the launch of a grant competition to launch a full cycle of production of explosives within the country .
