First the army, then everything else: Poroshenko handed over another batch of drones and equipment to the brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Petro Poroshenko handed over a batch of drones and equipment for units of various branches of the armed forces worth over UAH 28 million.
This is reported by “European Solidarity”.
The assistance was provided to paratroopers, artillerymen, reconnaissance and attack aircraft. The cargo included, in particular, 100 “Vyriy” fiber-optic FPV drones, 100 “Blyskavka” complexes, 24 “Stark Bomber” drones, 62 Starlink complexes, 50 “Aspirin” drone detectors, 80 generators and charging stations.
The military was also given engineering equipment, sawmills, electronics, and washing and shower complexes.
According to Poroshenko, in total, the Poroshenko Foundation, together with the NGO “Sprava Hromad”, has transferred UAH 8 billion in aid to the front since the start of the full-scale war. Of this amount, UAH 7 billion is the family’s personal funds, and another UAH 1 billion was collected by volunteers.
“We have invested 1.5 billion in FPV drones, Lightnings, drop-offs, fiber optics, and other combat drones alone. Every hryvnia causes the enemy dozens of times more damage,” he noted.
Poroshenko also criticized the authorities, stating pressure and obstacles to helping the army.
“While we are helping the army, those who steal hundreds of billions are imposing sanctions and preventing the financing of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Stop it,” he stressed.
The politician emphasized that all state resources should be directed primarily to the Defense Forces. According to him, the European Solidarity faction insists on directing military levy funds to a special fund to increase payments to the military.
Poroshenko also reported that the budget committee has already recommended the relevant bill for adoption, and a vote may take place in the near future.
Earlier it was reported that Petro Poroshenko transferred another batch of ATVs, dome electronic warfare equipment, sawmills, and trucks to the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
