As a result of shelling by the Russian army, residents of five Ukrainian regions were left without electricity.
This was reported by the Ministry of Energy.
Thus, due to attacks on energy infrastructure, power outages continue in Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Sumy, and Chernihiv regions.
Emergency and restoration work is currently underway. Power engineers are working to eliminate the consequences of the shelling and restore power supply.
In addition, scheduled power outages for residential consumers will continue throughout the day in all regions, and power restriction schedules will be in effect for industry and business.
“Current schedules are posted on the official resources of regional distribution system operators. Find out about changes in energy supply on the pages of the regional energy authority of your region,” the message says.
At the same time, the department urged consumers to use electricity rationally, especially during peak consumption hours in the morning and evening, in order to reduce the load on the system.
Recall that Russia has chosen a new tactic for attacks on Ukraine’s civilian infrastructure: now the occupiers are targeting facilities that were previously “untouchable”, however, energy remains a priority area of attack .
