Five regions of Ukraine left without electricity due to Russian strikes

The Russian army attacked Ukraine’s energy sector. The shelling caused power outages in Volyn, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Kharkiv, and Kherson regions.

This was reported by NPC Ukrenergo.

It is known that energy workers have already begun emergency restoration work where the security situation allows.

“Electricity consumption has worsened. Today, September 15, as of 09:30, it was 3.2% lower than at the same time the previous day — Monday, September 11. The reason for the changes is a lower level of cloudiness, which ensures the efficiency of household solar power plants and, accordingly, reduces the amount of energy consumption from the general network,” the energy company noted.

It is noted that on September 14, the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the evening. It was at the same level as the maximum of the previous working day – on Friday, September 11.

In particular, Ukrenergo advises that active energy consumption today should be postponed to the period of the most effective operation of industrial solar power plants – from 11:00 to 15:00.
