Flash showed what the repeaters for “Shaheeds” look like

Russia could use compact MESH repeaters to maintain contact with the Shaheds while flying over Ukraine. Such devices are so small that they can be hidden in a house, car, or even a suitcase.

This was announced by the Advisor to the President of Ukraine on the Development of Technological Areas of Defense, Serhiy “Flash” Beskrestnov.

According to him, there are MESH modems with a power of several to several dozen watts. It is on the basis of such devices that a repeater for Russian strike drones can be built.

“This is what a MESH modem with a power of several watts looks like, this is what a MESH modem with a power of several tens of watts looks like. That is, a repeater for “Shahedi” can be built on the basis of these solutions,” explained Flash.

The biggest danger, he said, is the compact size of the equipment, which makes it difficult to detect.

“As you can see, unfortunately, the dimensions are very small, they can be hidden, for example, in a private house, or in a car, or somewhere in a suitcase. All the enemy needs is to connect the Internet and a power source here, and it will work,” Beskrestnov noted.

Previously, Flash stated that Russian MESH repeaters may be operating in Kyiv , which provide a short-term control channel for the Shahed to adjust strikes.
