The Russian drone, which flew into Romania on September 13, was in the country’s airspace for about 50 minutes and descended to a distance of 10 kilometers.

This was announced by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

He assured that the Russians understand where their drones are headed and how long they can stay in the air.

According to him, also today the enemy used Belarusian airspace to launch UAVs towards Volyn.

“The routes are always calculated. This cannot be an accident, a mistake, or the actions of some lower-level commanders. This is an obvious expansion of the war by Russia, and that is exactly what they are doing. First, small steps, and in the end, big losses,” Zelensky wrote.

The president called for preventive action, adding that there are no insignificant military threats. He stressed the need for sanctions and tariffs against Russia.

As a reminder, during the Russian air attack on Ukraine , a Russian drone violated Romanian airspace and flew into the country’s territory.

Earlier , Russia launched a massive strike on the territory of Ukraine, with a number of enemy drones crossing Poland’s air border . This forced Warsaw to activate air defense forces and engage aviation.

It should be noted that 19 Russian drones violated Polish airspace . Polish air defense forces were able to eliminate only four of them. It should be added that later , in addition to the seven drones, a missile fragment was also found on Polish territory.
