Flydubai interrupts another flight to Tel Aviv: the plane returns to Dubai

Another Flydubai flight, flying from Dubai to Tel Aviv, changed course and returned to the United Arab Emirates. This is flight FZ1081, the reason for the turn is not yet known.

According to the flight tracking service, the aircraft changed direction during the flight and began heading back to Dubai. What exactly caused the crew’s decision is not yet known.

The FZ1081 diversion followed an incident with another Flydubai aircraft operating a similar route. Flight FZ1073 had issued distress signals during the flight, including code 7500, which is used to report unlawful interference with the operation of an aircraft.

After the signal was given, FZ1073 changed its route and landed at Tabuk Airport in Saudi Arabia. There were about 150 passengers on board. According to available information, all of them are alive, and after landing they were transferred to the control of Saudi services.

The reasons for the second plane’s turn and a possible connection to the previous incident have not yet been established.

A flydubai passenger plane flying from Dubai to Tel Aviv reportedly sent two distress signals over Saudi Arabia, one of which indicated an illegal interference or possible hijacking of the aircraft . It was later revealed that the incident was caused by a fight between the pilots.
