During March 17-18, the Russian army lost more than 900 soldiers on three front lines due to a sharp change in weather conditions.

This was announced by the commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, Robert “Magyar” Brody.

According to him, on the front lines in the Donetsk and Zaporizhia regions — in the Dobropol sector and the Pokrov and Hulyaipol directions — the enemy launched assault operations, taking advantage of the bad weather.

The first enemy groups, infiltrated in advance, began assault operations around midnight on March 17. However, Ukrainian drones attacked more than a hundred occupiers.

“At dawn on March 17, the worm devoured the infantry, motorcycles, armor, and horses accumulated in the distance simultaneously in a good dozen areas,” said “Magyar.”

UAV operators managed to hit more than 500 Russian army soldiers, almost 300 of them were killed, and another 221 were wounded.

On the afternoon of March 18, the Unmanned Systems Forces destroyed another 141 Russians, and 136 occupiers were wounded.

“900 in a day and a half is a somewhat new record. Honor, Gentlemen of the bird subculture of the SBS. The air defense brigades’ auxiliaries — the drone brigades’ drones — also did a great job. And the defenders on the ground were unsurpassed — the enemy did not attack a single area in a day and a half on the aforementioned section. But the total losses of the occupiers are much greater. Let’s hold our ground, there will be a heavy and prolonged battle for the rest of March,” emphasized Robert Brovdy, adding that the enemy has already begun a spring-summer offensive campaign.

As a reminder, as of the morning of March 18 , Russia has lost about 1,282,570 military personnel since the start of its full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
