Due to Russian attacks, there is further damage to energy infrastructure in some regions of Ukraine, so electricity consumption restrictions are in effect until the end of the day.
The press service of Ukrenergo reported this.
“The aftermath of the previous massive missile and drone attacks on the power grid continues to be addressed. Power workers are doing everything possible to restore service to damaged equipment as quickly as possible,” the statement said.
Power companies reminded that today, November 10, due to the consequences of the hostile attacks, power consumption restrictions are being implemented. Hourly outages of two to four stages will be in effect in most regions until the end of the day.
In regions where time-based power outages are in effect, power limitation schedules for industry and businesses will also apply.
According to Ukrenergo, electricity consumption remains high. Yesterday, November 9, the daily peak in consumption was recorded in the evening. It was 1.9% higher than the previous day, Saturday.
“Given the weather conditions and the aftermath of the Russian attacks, the need to conserve electricity will remain throughout the day. Please limit the use of powerful electrical appliances and transfer energy-intensive processes to the nighttime, when the load on the power grid is lower,” the company urged.
Let us recall that air defense forces neutralized 52 of the 67 drones with which the Russians attacked Ukraine.
