“For a unified vertical of control”: the Armed Forces of Ukraine created a group of Unmanned Systems Forces

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have created a separate grouping of Unmanned Systems Forces, which will unite all units of this branch of the military.

This was reported by the press service of the Unmanned Systems Forces.

The new grouping for the Unmanned Systems Forces is designed to increase the effectiveness of management, transformation, and adaptation to modern warfare.

The newly created group should include all military units of the SBS and the “Drone Line”.

“For the first time, the units will operate within a single vertical of control – with a defined structure, clear interaction, and a common vision of the tactics of using UAVs,” the SBS press service noted.

The new structure will introduce unified approaches, coordinated actions, and systematic combat use of unmanned systems.

The SBS assured that most units of the newly formed group are already carrying out combat missions.

Recall that on June 3, Robert “Magyar” Brody headed the newly created Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine , a unit that will be responsible for the development, implementation, and combat use of drones. This is one of the key areas of modern warfare.

By the way, SBS Commander Robert “Magyar” Brody stated that his primary tasks in his new position are full coordination, effectiveness, and autonomy of drone units .
