For the first time in history: the Armed Forces of Ukraine conducted a unique operation in the Kinburn direction

The 123rd Separate Territorial Defense Brigade reported conducting a combat operation using an unmanned sea platform and a ground robotic complex in the Kinburn direction. The brigade stated that this was the first combat mission of this format known to them.

This was reported by the press service of the first battalion of unmanned systems of the 123rd separate brigade of the TRO.

The unit reported that the operation was carried out under the leadership of the commander of the 123rd Separate Territorial Defense Brigade, Colonel Oleg Makukha, and organized by the commander of the 1st Unmanned Systems Battalion, Major Denis Hipik.

According to the brigade, the ground robotic complex was delivered to the enemy shore using an unmanned sea platform, after which it was landed in the occupied territory of the Kinburn direction and used to perform a combat mission.

“The first known combat mission of this format in the world: a ground-based robotic complex was delivered to the enemy shore using an unmanned sea platform, landed on the occupied land of the native land and used to perform a combat mission,” the 123rd Separate Territorial Defense Brigade reported.

The brigade noted that the use of an unmanned marine platform makes it possible to deliver robotic complexes to areas where there is a high risk to personnel.

The 123rd Airborne Brigade also emphasized that they continue to develop robotic and unmanned systems, which, according to them, should save the lives of servicemen and expand the capabilities of performing combat missions.

It was previously reported that for the first time since the start of the full-scale war, the Ukrainian military captured an enemy position without the participation of infantry – only with the help of robotic complexes and drones.
