Authorities in the Donetsk region have launched a mandatory evacuation of families with children from Druzhkivka and several villages in the Andriyivska community due to daily heavy shelling that threatens civilian lives.

This was reported by the head of the Donetsk Oblast Administration, Vadym Filashkin.

The mandatory evacuation of families with children will take place from the city of Druzhkivka, as well as from the villages of Andriivka, Varvarivka, Novoandriivka, and Rohanske in the Andriivka community.

The decision was made by the regional commission on technogenic and environmental safety and emergencies. According to official data, approximately 1,879 children currently live in these settlements.

The evacuation was prompted by the daily intensive shelling of the Donetsk region by Russian troops—an average of around 3,000 strikes per day. Authorities emphasize that it is unacceptable for civilians, especially children, to remain in a constant danger zone.

Local authorities, law enforcement officers, and all structural units of the regional administration already have a well-developed evacuation system. Families are guaranteed organized evacuation and placement in safe areas with proper living conditions.

Residents are urged not to delay and to leave as soon as possible to avoid tragedy.

Previously, the process of forced evacuation of families with children from 19 settlements began in the Lyman community in the Donetsk region.

We remind you that the evacuation of the population has begun in Kherson due to damage to the automobile bridge connecting the city with the Korabelnyi Microdistrict.
