Due to the deteriorating security situation in the Donetsk region, local authorities have decided to expand the list of settlements from which they will carry out the forced evacuation of families with children.

The head of the Donetsk OVA, Vadim Filashkin, reported this on his Telegram channel.

“We are beginning the forced evacuation of children and their families from the city of Dobropillya, as well as the villages of Gannovka, Novy Donbass, Rubizhne (Dobropillya community) and Dobropillya, Nadezhda, Novokrivorozhye, Novomaryevka, Novofedorovka, Raksha (Krivorozhskaya community),” the official said.

The corresponding decision was made today at a meeting of the regional commission on issues of technogenic and environmental safety and emergency situations.

According to Filashkin, there are approximately 928 children in the aforementioned settlements. He instructed local authorities and heads of structural units of the OVA, in close cooperation with law enforcement, to organize evacuation as quickly as possible and provide families with appropriate living conditions in safer regions of Ukraine.

“Staying on the territory of Donetsk remains constantly dangerous,” he emphasized.
