Forget about old “iPhones”: iPhone 17 Pro promises a visual revolution

Apple will introduce the iPhone 17 Pro in the fall of 2025. Mockups of the device show dramatic changes in design.

This was revealed by a Majin Bu insider.

The iPhone’s traditional notch has been replaced with a wide camera panel that spans the entire width of the back. This is the first major change to the camera design since the iPhone 6.

Insider Majin Bu on his page in X, demonstrated a new horizontal format of camera placement, covering the upper part of the body.

Optics

The iPhone 17 Pro will receive a camera with a 48MP sensor, equivalent to the main and ultra-wide cameras.

This will improve photo quality and ensure stable detail.

Video recording

It is likely that the standard “Camera” application will have the ability to simultaneously record from the front and three rear cameras.

Front camera

The front TrueDepth camera is expected to be upgraded to 24 MP. This will improve the quality of selfies, video calls, and work in low light conditions.

In addition to design and cameras, Pro models will receive:

• Support for A19 Pro, up to 12 GB of RAM and Wi-Fi 7;
• Evaporative chamber for effective processor cooling during long video or gaming sessions.

Apple will likely unveil new iPhones in September – probably on the tenth of the month.

It was previously reported that Apple is preparing a number of new features, according to the latest leaks, iOS 19 should bring the ability to record video simultaneously from the phone’s front and rear cameras .

It is worth noting that Apple is developing the first foldable iPhone.
