On Tuesday, April 7, the coach of the Romanian national football team and former coach of the Ukrainian Dynamo and Shakhtar Donetsk, Mircea Lucescu, died.

This was reported by sports journalist from Romania Emanuel Rosu.

Information about the death of the football coach appeared at around 8:55 p.m. Lucescu was 80 years old.

“Tragic news. Mircea Lucescu died 15 minutes ago. He left behind an entire station wagon. May God rest his soul,” the journalist wrote.

The day before, the media reported that as of April 6, Lucescu continued treatment in the intensive care unit , his condition was assessed as serious.

It was previously reported that Mircea Lucescu lost consciousness before the team’s morning training session on the eve of the match against Slovakia.
