As of the morning of August 28, consumers in four regions of Ukraine are without electricity due to Russian strikes on civilian energy infrastructure.

This was reported by NPC Ukrenergo.

New power outages were recorded in Odessa, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, and Kyiv regions. Power engineers are already carrying out emergency restoration work where the security situation allows.

As of 9:30 a.m., electricity consumption was 4.4% lower than the previous day. Ukrenergo explained this by clear weather in most regions, which makes home solar power plants work more efficiently.

In particular, energy experts advise using powerful electrical appliances from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. if possible. Instead, they ask to reduce consumption between 6:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
