Four prisoners of war of the Russian armed forces escaped in Kramatorsk. The incident occurred on July 14, 2025, and within a few hours, law enforcement officers announced an active search phase. It is known that if fugitives are detected and a threat arises, they are allowed to be eliminated on the spot. Police warn: enemy fighters may be armed and are trying to escape from the area by seizing transport.

This was reported by the commander of the detachment of the 24th assault battalion “Aidar” Stanislav “Osman” Bunyatov.

On Monday, July 14, four Russian prisoners of war escaped from custody in Kramatorsk. According to operational data, the escape occurred during the movement of prisoners within the city. Vadim Vykhodtsev, Maxim Skvortsov, Vyacheslav Morkovkin and Yevgeny Terentyev managed to escape – all of them are fighters of the armed formations of the Russian Federation, some of whom are involved in the Wagner PMC and the Storm and Shkval units.

The police and military have announced a search for:

  • Vadim Vykhodtsev , born on June 10, 1990, call sign “Noga”.
  • Maksym Skvortsov , born on November 24, 2006, call sign “Maloy”.
  • Vyacheslav Morkovkin , born on July 25, 1998, call sign “Mednyi”, height 195–205 cm.
  • Yevgeny Terentyev , born on March 25, 1983, call sign “Terek”, militant of the Wagner PMC.

All are suspected of war crimes. Morkovkin poses a particular danger due to his physical characteristics and possible possession of weapons. Terentyev is considered an ideologically motivated militant with significant combat experience.

According to the commander of the assault battalion “Aidar” Stanislav Bunyatov, the fugitives do not speak Ukrainian and are probably trying to take possession of a car to leave Kramatorsk. They can be seen in the private sector on the outskirts of the city. In this regard, the police called on residents to be as careful as possible and to immediately report suspicious persons.

In the event of an immediate threat to the lives of civilians or military personnel, the use of weapons is permitted, including on-site elimination. Orientation with photographs of fugitives has already been widespread among law enforcement officers, military personnel, and volunteer territorial defense units.

Anyone who recognizes the suspects or has any information about their whereabouts is asked to contact the Kramatorsk District Police Department on duty by phone: +38 (050) 988 05 93 .

Currently, extensive search operations are underway in Kramatorsk and surrounding areas with the participation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the police, and the National Guard. The situation is under the personal control of the Joint Forces Operation command.
