Ukraine has significantly increased its use of strike drones, but their number is still inferior to the scale of attacks by Russia. According to President Volodymyr Zelensky, Ukrainian soldiers launch an average of 100-150 drones into the aggressor’s territory every day, while the Russian Federation uses 500-600 drones against Ukraine.

The head of state stated this during a press conference in Copenhagen.

Zelensky recalled that a year ago, the Ukrainian army was unable to adequately respond to massive shelling of civilian infrastructure, which led to large-scale blackouts.

“Now we can respond, and they feel our powerful responses. Today they use 500-600 drones per day, we use 100-150,” the President emphasized.

At the same time, he explained that Ukraine has every opportunity to increase drone production, but the key issue remains financing.

“Thanks to increased funding, we will be able to achieve similar indicators for long-range drones. Then there will be more questions from their ( Russian – ed. ) society to their leader,” Zelensky emphasized.

It was previously reported that Ukrainian drones carried out record strikes on the Russian oil refining industry , shutting down about 38% of primary refining capacity.

Ukraine also signed an agreement with the American company Swift Beat to jointly produce hundreds of thousands of drones , including interceptors.
