From heat to thunderstorms: the weather forecaster told what the weather will be like by the end of August

In the coming days, the weather in Ukraine will remain mostly warm and dry, but by the end of the week the situation will start to change. The hottest places will be in the south and southeast, where the temperature will rise to +34°, while rains with thunderstorms are expected in the western regions.
This is stated in the forecast of weather forecaster Igor Kibalchych, published on Meteoprog.
On Thursday, August 27, precipitation will hardly bother Ukrainians. The day will be sunny or with a small amount of clouds. After a cool night, the temperature will rise to +24…+29° during the day. In the south of the country and Transcarpathia, it will be hotter – up to +33°.
Friday will also pass without significant precipitation. At night, +10…+16° is expected, and during the day the air will warm up to +26…+31°. In the southern and southwestern regions, the heat will intensify – in places up to +34°.
On Saturday, August 29, the weather will start to change. It will remain warm in most parts of the territory, with daytime temperatures of +26…+32°. At the same time, short-term rains with thunderstorms will occur in places in the western regions. The wind will also become stronger – its gusts may reach 7–12 m/s.
The biggest changes are expected on Sunday. It will be cloudier on the Right Bank, with moderate thunderstorms in places. There will be significantly less precipitation on the Left Bank. The temperature will drop to +23…+29° during the day.
The capital will have a comfortable temperature in the coming days without extreme heat. At night in the Kyiv region it will be around +8…+13°, during the day – +21…+26°.
In Kyiv, thermometers will show around +15…+16° at night and +23…+25° during the day. On August 28–29, the temperature may rise to +28°.
Thus, the coming days will still give Ukrainians dry summer heat, and closer to the weekend the weather will become more unstable – with rains and thunderstorms in the west and on the Right Bank.
