Front as of 4:00 PM: dozens of Russian attacks and a difficult situation in the east

The situation on the front as of 4:00 p.m. remains tense: since the beginning of the day, the Ukrainian military has recorded 138 combat clashes along the entire front line. The enemy is actively shelling border areas and trying to advance in several directions.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Russian forces continue to strike in Sumy and Chernihiv regions, where Starykove, Ulanov, Vovkivka, Khrinivka and other settlements came under fire. In the North Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, the enemy fought one battle, carried out an air strike and over 60 shellings.

In the South Slobozhansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled nine attacks in the areas of Vovchansk, Izbitsky, Synelnyky, and Novovasylivka. In the Kupyansk direction, five battles are ongoing near Pishchany, Petropavlivka, and Shyykivka.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 16 times today, and three battles are still ongoing. The defense forces are also holding back the offensive in the Sloviansk, Kramatorsk, and Kostyantynivka directions, where Ukrainian fighters have already repelled dozens of assaults and are continuing the battle in several points.

The situation in the Pokrovsky direction is the most difficult: Russian troops have attacked 43 times, and fighting continues in ten areas. Ukrainian units are conducting counter-sabotage measures and clarifying enemy losses.

Nine clashes took place in the Hulyaipil direction, and one more battle is ongoing. The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in Orikhivske. In the Prydniprovske direction, Ukrainian forces repelled two attacks near the Antonivske bridge. In Volyn and Polissya, no signs of the formation of enemy strike groups were detected.

It was previously reported that the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine updated data on the losses of the Russian army in the war against Ukraine , so in the 24 hours of November 30, the Ukrainian military destroyed 1,060 occupiers and 14 enemy artillery systems.

Recall that in November, the Russian army occupied 505 square kilometers of Ukrainian territory – almost twice as much as in September.
