The weather in the Carpathians has worsened. On Tuesday, October 13, the air temperature on Mount Pip Ivan dropped to -4°C. Visibility in the mountains has also deteriorated due to cloud cover.
This was reported by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service in Ivano-Frankivsk region.
As of 09:10, a northerly wind of 3 m/s was recorded on Mount Pip Ivan. The sky was covered with clouds, and due to poor visibility, it may be more difficult for tourists to navigate the routes.
Rescuers advise to refrain from hiking in the mountains for now, so as not to expose yourself to danger. Tourists are also urged to monitor weather forecasts and take weather conditions into account before planning trips.
