Frosts are coming to Ukraine: where will it be coldest?

Frosts are expected in a number of regions of Ukraine in early October. The temperature on the soil surface at night may drop to 0…-3 degrees.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, citing data from the Ukrhydrometeorological Center.
On the night of October 1-3, frosts are forecast in the western and northern regions, as well as in Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, and Poltava regions.
On the night of October 2, the temperature on the soil surface may drop below zero also in Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, and Luhansk regions.
By October 3, frosts will spread to the southern part of Ukraine.
Forecasters predict temperatures on the ground from 0 to -3 degrees. Due to worsening weather conditions, level I danger – yellow – has been declared.
The State Emergency Service also warned that frosts could damage vegetables that have not yet been harvested.
