Frosts are weakening: what will the weather be like in Ukraine on February 10

The worst of the cold in Ukraine is behind us. Starting today, February 10, the cold will gradually weaken, and the air temperature will slowly rise.

On the night of February 9-10, the air temperature dropped to -12…-20 degrees, in the north in places the cold reached -22. During the day, on February 10, -4…-11 degrees are expected in most regions. In the south and west, the temperature will remain within -2…-4, and in Transcarpathia, warming to +2 degrees is possible.

No significant precipitation is forecast today. The anticyclone keeps the weather dry, only in Transcarpathia light wet snow is possible. The wind is mainly southerly, moderate, in the western regions it will strengthen in places.

The night in Kyiv was frosty – the temperature dropped to -20 degrees. Dry and sunny weather is expected in the capital on the afternoon of February 10 with a temperature of about -10 degrees. The southerly wind will strengthen in the afternoon.
