Last week, the Save Ukraine team helped return 15 children and adolescents from the occupied territories. The operation was carried out with the support of partners within the framework of the Bring Kids Back UA initiative of the President of Ukraine.
This was reported by Bring Kids Back UA.
Among those rescued is 19-year-old Myron, who was repeatedly visited by FSB officers for refusing to attend a Russian school. The boy was interrogated and persuaded to sign a contract with the Russian army.
They also managed to take out 18-year-old Kateryna, who secretly continued her studies at a Ukrainian school online during the occupation. According to her, Russian soldiers came to her house several times to search it and took her father’s car.
Another rescued teenager is 18-year-old Oleksandr. He openly opposed Russian propaganda at school. After receiving another summons, the young man decided to leave the occupied territory.
Currently, all those rescued are undergoing reintegration at the Hope and Recovery centers, where they receive psychological assistance, support with paperwork, and temporary shelter.
Bring Kids Back UA emphasized that hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian children still remain in the occupied territories, where Russia continues to pressure and impose its identity on them.
