Former Energy Minister German Galushchenko complained about his allegedly illegal detention.
This was reported by the High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine .
The hearing of his complaint is scheduled for February 16 at 5:00 PM. The day before, on February 15, Galushchenko was detained by detectives from the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine while attempting to leave Ukraine.
He was subsequently charged with involvement in the “Midas” corruption scheme.
It was previously reported that on the night of February 15, NABU and SAP detained former Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko while attempting to cross the border.
Subsequently, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau confirmed the detention of former Energy Minister German Galushchenko while attempting to travel abroad.
