Gas prices will remain unchanged until spring: government decision

The government has maintained the current preferential gas prices for the population and heat producers until March 31. Thus, they will be in effect until the end of the heating season.

This was announced by Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky.

According to him, the government made this decision in view of the moratorium on tariff increases in force in Ukraine during martial law. They also took into account the difficult socio-economic situation in the country.

At the same time, the government is preparing changes to tariff policy within the framework of its obligations to international partners.

Koretsky noted that the authorities are working on more transparent and fair tariff formation. At the same time, they plan to increase targeted assistance to Ukrainians who need it.
