In temporarily occupied Crimea, all brands of gasoline disappeared from gas stations.
Crimea.Realities writes about this.
It is reported that even the most expensive brand of gasoline, A100, is not available at gas stations.
As a human rights activist and #LiberateCrimea campaigner told the publication on condition of anonymity, the gasoline situation on the occupied peninsula has been deteriorating over the past ten days and has reached a critical point today.
According to him, many gas stations are closing, the gasoline collapse has hit both residents and businesses, and the number of cars on the roads has noticeably decreased.
“You have to wait a long time for a taxi, and they’re also having problems with gas. A taxi driver I know told me that their company has seen a dramatic increase in requests for battery recharging, as Crimean drivers are losing their batteries en masse due to the lack of gas,” he said.
As previously reported, the fuel crisis in Russia is gaining momentum . Gasoline prices are rising in several regions, and some gas stations are still experiencing supply disruptions. Serious delivery problems are expected in the Kaliningrad region.
Earlier, in the Kuril region of the Sakhalin region of the Russian Federation , the sale of AI-92 gasoline to the local population was stopped .
As a reminder, the fuel shortage is only growing on the temporarily occupied Crimean Peninsula: in Simferopol and several other cities, AI-95 has disappeared from gas stations, forcing some stations to close. This fuel is mainly sold using company coupons.
