General Staff Confirms Attack on Shahed Plant in Russia

On July 4, the Ukrainian Defense Forces attacked a plant in the city of Sergeyev Posad in the Moscow region, where combat parts for the Shahed kamikaze drones are produced.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.

The target was the enterprise JSC Federal Scientific and Production Center Research Institute of Applied Chemistry, which is part of Rostec and is under international sanctions.

The strike was carried out by operators of the 14th separate UAV regiment; hits, a powerful fire, thick smoke, and damage to the substation that supplied power to the plant were recorded.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces noted that the attack was aimed at reducing Russia’s ability to carry out air strikes against Ukraine.

Let us recall that on the night of Friday, July 4, a large-scale drone attack was recorded in several regions of Russia.
