General Staff report: 112 clashes have occurred at the front since the beginning of the day

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published operational information as of 10:00 p.m. on February 22, 2026 regarding the Russian invasion.
The defense forces are focusing their efforts on disrupting the Russian invaders’ offensive plans and exhausting their combat potential. Since the beginning of the day , 112 combat clashes have occurred.
According to the updated information, the enemy launched one missile strike, used 50 missiles, conducted 66 air strikes, dropped 152 guided bombs. In addition, it used 3,900 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,313 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops.
One clash with the enemy took place in the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions. The enemy carried out 68 attacks on settlements and positions of our units, including six from multiple launch rocket systems.
In the South Slobozhansky direction, the enemy attacked once in the Dvorichansky area, and the fighting continues.
One attack was repelled by Ukrainian defenders in the Kupyansk direction, towards Hlushkivka.
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers stopped six attacks, in the Drobyshevye area and towards Novoserhiivka, Oleksandrivka, and Stavki.
In the Slavyansk direction, our defenders repelled four attempts by the occupiers to advance in the areas of Platonovka and Zakitne.
No enemy offensive actions have been recorded in the Kramatorsk direction at this time.
In the Kostyantynivka direction, the invaders stormed the positions of our defenders 13 times today near Pleshchiivka, Sofiivka and towards Illinivka, Kostyantynivka, and Stepanivka. One clash is still ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy carried out 22 attacks. The occupiers tried to advance in the areas of the settlements of Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Udachne, Filiya and towards the settlements of Bilytske, Hryshyne, Novopidhorodne.
According to preliminary estimates, today in this direction our soldiers eliminated 22 occupiers and wounded 19; destroyed 77 unmanned aerial vehicles, one artillery system, an electronic warfare station, two units of motor transport and four units of special equipment, also hit one artillery system, one electronic warfare station, seven units of motor vehicles and 12 enemy personnel shelters.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, Ukrainian units stopped six attacks by the invaders in the areas of the settlements of Stepove, Kalynivske, Ternove and towards Novy Zaporizhzhia. The areas of the settlements of Pokrovske and Prosyana were hit by airstrikes.
In the Hulyaipil direction, there were 24 attacks by the invaders – in the areas of Hulyaipil and towards Zeleny, Zaliznychny, and Hulyaipil. The settlements of Rizdvyanka, Kopany, Dolynka, Tersyanka, Zirnytsia, Vozdvizhivka, Hulyaipilske, Charivne, Novomykolaivka, Samiylivka, and Lyubitske were subjected to enemy airstrikes.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy twice attacked the positions of our defenders in the Primorsky and Stepovy districts. The areas of the settlements of Tavriyske, Komyshuvakha, and Veselyanka were subjected to air strikes with guided bombs.
No enemy offensive actions have been recorded in the Dnieper direction at this time.
