General Staff report: 114 clashes have occurred at the front since the beginning of the day

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published operational information as of 10:00 p.m. on May 1, 2026 regarding the Russian invasion.
In total, 114 combat clashes have occurred since the beginning of this day. The defense forces continue to stop the enemy, destroy personnel and exhaust the combat potential of the occupiers, inflicting systematic fire damage.
The enemy carried out 53 air strikes, dropped 167 guided bombs. In addition, it used 6,058 kamikaze drones to destroy them and carried out 2,425 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops.
In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, the Defense Forces repelled one enemy assault, the enemy carried out 77 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops, one of which involved the use of multiple launch rocket systems, and carried out two air strikes using five guided bombs.
In the South Slobozhansk direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units eight times in the areas of the settlements of Starytsia, Izbitske, Krasne Pershe, Mala Vovcha, and Figolivka.
In the Kupyansk direction, our defenders successfully repelled one enemy assault near the settlement of Petropavlivka. Another clash near Kurylivka is still ongoing.
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled nine attempts by the invaders to advance in the areas of the settlements of Ozerne, Lyman, Drobysheve, and Stavky.
In the Slavyansk direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled four assaults by the occupiers in the areas of Kryva Luka, Zakitne, Riznykivka, and Rai-Oleksandrivka.
The enemy did not launch any attacks in the Kramatorsk direction.
The defense forces successfully repelled six enemy assaults in the Kostyantynivka direction near Kostyantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Oleksandro-Shultyny, and Ivano-Pol.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy launched 24 attacks. The occupiers tried to advance in the areas of the settlements of Sofiivka, Vilne, Dorozhne, Nove Shakhove, Rodynske, Myrnograd, Novooleksandrivka, Pokrovsk, Udachne, Muravka, Molodetske, Hryshyne, and Novopavlivka.
According to preliminary estimates, today in this direction 71 occupiers were eliminated and 21 were wounded; one multiple launch rocket system, 8 units of enemy vehicles and 8 units of special equipment, one cannon were destroyed; one tank, three cannons, one armored combat vehicle, five units of vehicles and three control points for unmanned aerial vehicles were damaged. 272 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types were destroyed or suppressed.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the occupiers tried to improve their position five times, attacking in the areas of the settlements of Oleksandrovka, Yehorivka, Sichneve, and Zlagoda. In addition, the occupiers launched an air strike in the area of the settlement of Pysanki.
In the Hulyaipil direction, there were 14 attacks by the invaders in the areas of Varvarivka, Zaliznychny, Charivny, Hulyaipilsky, Tsvitkove and Dobropillya. The enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of the settlements of Vozdvizhivska, Verkhnia Tersa, Lisne, Kopany, Rivne and Lyubitske. Two clashes are ongoing.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attempted to advance in the area of the settlement of Stepnohirsk. In addition, the enemy launched air strikes on the areas of the settlements of Mykilske, Vasylivka, Omelnyk, Orikhiv, Odarivka, Zarichne, Shchaslyve, and Komyshuvakha.
In the Dnieper direction, our defenders successfully stopped three attacks towards the Antonivskyi Bridge and near the Bilogruy Island.
There were no significant changes in the situation in other areas.
