General Staff report: 116 clashes have occurred at the front since the beginning of the day

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published operational information as of 10:00 PM on March 22, 2026 regarding the Russian invasion.
In total, 116 combat clashes have taken place since the beginning of this day. Ukrainian defenders are inflicting constant fire damage on the enemy, destroying personnel and exhausting its combat potential.
The enemy carried out 42 air strikes, dropping 169 guided bombs. In addition, it used 5,722 kamikaze drones to destroy them and carried out 2,678 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops.
In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions today, the enemy carried out 88 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements, five of them using MLRS. It carried out one air strike using four CABs. One enemy assault action was recorded in the direction.
In the South-Slobozhansk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our units four times in the areas of the settlements of Starytsia, Vovchanski Khutory and in the direction of Zybyne and Okhrimivka.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attacked four times in the areas of Borivska Andriivka, Kupyansk, and towards Novoplatonivka and Kivsharivka.
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled three assaults by the occupiers towards Shyykivka, Dibrova, and in the area of the settlement of Seredne.
In the Slavyansk direction, the enemy has attempted to advance seven times in the areas of Zakitne, Riznykovka, Pazeno, and Platonovka. One attack is ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the aggressor twice tried to improve its position, attacking in the areas of Orikhovo-Vasylivka and Chasovy Yar.
In the Kostyantynivka direction, the invaders stormed the positions of our defenders 11 times today in the areas of the settlements of Kostyantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Ivano-Pillya, Rusyn Yar, Sofiivka, and Novopavlivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy carried out 23 attacks. The occupiers tried to advance in the areas of the settlements of Bilytske, Rodynske, Myrnograd, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novomykolaivka and towards Hryshynye and Shevchenko.
According to preliminary estimates, today in this direction 49 occupiers were eliminated and 23 were wounded; a vehicle and three occupier shelters were destroyed; 95 shelters, three UAV control points and a cannon were damaged. 267 UAVs of various types were destroyed or suppressed.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the occupiers attacked five times in the areas of the settlements of Ternove, Novohrygorivka, Krasnohirske and towards Yehorivka. One attack is ongoing.
In the Hulyaipol direction, ten attacks by the invaders were recorded in the areas of the settlements of Hulyaipol, Solodke, and Myrne. One assault operation is ongoing.
No enemy attacks were observed in the Orikhiv direction.
No enemy assault actions were recorded in the Dnieper direction.
There were no significant changes in the situation in other areas.
