General Staff report: 119 clashes have occurred at the front since the beginning of the day

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published operational information as of 10:00 PM on January 24, 2026 regarding the Russian invasion.

In total , 119 combat clashes have occurred since the beginning of this day. Ukrainian defenders continue to resolutely repel enemy attempts to advance deep into our territory.

The Russian invaders launched two missile and 57 air strikes, used 23 missiles and dropped 147 guided bombs. In addition, they used 5,295 kamikaze drones to destroy the positions of our troops and settlements and carried out 2,843 attacks.

In the North Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, the enemy carried out two air strikes, dropping seven guided bombs and carrying out 82 shellings of our troops’ positions and settlements, two of which were from multiple launch rocket systems.

Today, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders six times in the South-Slobozhansk direction in the areas of the settlements of Starytsia, Vovchanski Khutory, Figolivka and towards the settlements of Krugle and Chuhunivka.

In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy tried to break through the defense of our defenders – he attacked in the direction of Peschany.

In the Lymansky direction, the Defense Forces repelled six enemy assault actions in the areas of the settlements of Drobysheve, Zarichne, Torske and towards Druzhelyubivka. One clash is currently ongoing.

In the Slavyansk direction, the enemy attacked near Zvanivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy twice attempted to advance in the areas of the settlements of Orikhovo-Vasylivka and Markovo, and one clash is ongoing.

There were 12 combat clashes in the Kostyantynivka direction today. The enemy stormed the positions of Ukrainian units in the areas of the settlements of Kostyantynivka, Kleban-Byk, Pleshchiivka, Shcherbynivka, Yablunivka, Rusyn Yar, Sofiivka and in the direction of Novopavlivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of this day, the enemy has attacked 42 times in the areas of the settlements of Pokrovsk, Myrnograd, Rodynske, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Filiya and towards the settlements of Bilytske, Dorozhne, Shevchenko, Hryshyne, and Ivanivka.

Today, according to preliminary data, 113 occupiers have been neutralized in this direction, 70 of whom are irretrievably killed. In addition, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed one vehicle and five special equipment units, a motorcycle, 13 UAVs and four enemy personnel shelters. Our defenders also hit one artillery system, nine vehicles, a special equipment unit and sixteen enemy personnel shelters.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled four attacks by invaders in the areas of the settlements of Zelenyy Hai and Zlagoda.

In the Hulyaipil direction, the aggressor tried 14 times to advance on the positions of our troops in the areas of Hulyaipil, Myrne and in the direction of Novy Zaporizhzhia, Dobropil, Zeleny, Varvarivka, Zaliznychne. Two clashes are ongoing. Zirnytsia, Lyubitske, Vozdvizhivka, Zaliznychne, Verkhnia Tersa were under enemy airstrikes. In some locations, fighting continues to this day.

In the Orikhiv direction, our defenders repelled an enemy attack in the Plavni and Primorske areas. The enemy launched an airstrike on Preobrazhenka.

In the Dnieper direction, the enemy once unsuccessfully attacked the positions of our defenders.
