General Staff report: 128 clashes have occurred at the front since the beginning of the day

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published operational information as of 10:00 p.m. on April 4, 2026 regarding the Russian invasion.

In total, 128 combat clashes have taken place since the beginning of this day. The defense forces continue to stop the enemy, destroy personnel and exhaust the combat potential of the occupiers, inflicting systematic fire damage.

The enemy carried out 54 air strikes, dropped 159 guided bombs. In addition, it engaged 6,144 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,701 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops.

In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, the enemy carried out 73 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements, including seven using multiple launch rocket systems.

In the South-Slobozhansk direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units six times in the areas of the settlements of Vovchansk, Okhrimivka, and Ambarne. Two clashes are ongoing.

In the Kupyansk direction, our defenders successfully repelled four enemy assaults in the areas of the settlements of Kurylivka, Pishchane, Kivsharivka, Novoplatonivka, and Novoosinove. Three more clashes are still ongoing.

In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled one attempt by the invaders to advance towards the settlement of Lyman.
In the Slavyansk direction, Ukrainian soldiers repel two assaults by the occupiers in the areas of Platonovka and Yampol.
The enemy did not launch any attacks in the Kramatorsk direction.

The defense forces successfully repelled 26 enemy assaults in the Kostyantynivka direction near Kostyantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, Stepanivka, Novopavlivka, Dovha Balka, and Sofiivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy carried out 24 attacks. The occupiers tried to advance in the areas of the settlements of Bilytske, Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Udachne, Hryshyne, Myrnograd, Novomykolaivka and towards the New Donbas. Three clashes are still ongoing.

According to preliminary estimates, today in this direction 67 occupiers were eliminated and 44 were wounded; one vehicle and 14 units of special enemy equipment, one gun were destroyed, two tanks, one armored combat vehicle, five vehicles and seven enemy infantry shelters were damaged. 207 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types were destroyed or suppressed.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the occupiers tried to improve their position eight times, attacking in the areas of the settlements of Oleksandrivkagrad, Sichneve, and Verbov. The vicinity of the settlements of Ivanivka, Dobropasovka, Levadne, and Vyshneve was hit by airstrikes. One clash is currently ongoing.

In the Hulyaipil direction, there were ten attacks by the occupiers in the areas of Varvarivka, Zaliznychny, Hulyaipilsky, Pryluky, Olenokostyantynivka, and Myrny. The enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of Vozdvyzhensky, Novoselivka, Rybalsky, and Lyubytsky.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attempted to advance in the area of the Stepove settlement. In addition, the enemy launched air strikes on the areas of the Stepnohirsk and Hryhorivka settlements.

In the Dnieper direction, our defenders successfully stopped three assault actions in the direction of the Antonivskyi Bridge and near the Bilogruy Island.

There were no significant changes in the situation in other areas.
