General Staff report: 216 clashes occurred at the front in the past 24 hours

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published operational information as of 08:00 on November 17, 2025 regarding the Russian invasion.

In total , 216 combat clashes were recorded yesterday. Over the past day, aviation, missile troops, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck one area of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment and one artillery system of the Russian invaders.

The enemy carried out 66 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, dropping 164 guided bombs. In addition, it carried out 4,122 attacks, 124 of which were from multiple rocket launcher systems, and used 4,082 kamikaze drones to destroy them.

Air strikes were carried out, in particular, on the areas of the settlements of Demuryne, Lisne, Danylivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region; Hulyaipole, Vozdvizhivka, Bilogirya, Ternuvaty, Orikhiv in the Zaporizhia region; and Sadovoe in the Kherson region.

In the North Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, the enemy carried out 6 air strikes, dropped 11 guided bombs, and carried out 148 attacks, including eight from multiple launch rocket systems.

In the South Slobozhansk direction, six clashes took place yesterday near Vovchansk and in the Dvorichansk and Obukhivka directions.

In the Kupyansk direction, eight attacks by the invaders took place over the past day. Defense forces repelled the enemy’s assault actions in the areas of the settlements of Pishchane, Kupyansk, and Golubivka.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 23 times, trying to advance in the areas of the settlements of Cherneschyna, Novyi Mir, Hrekivka, Karpivka, Korovyn Yar, Drobysheve, Yampolivka, Terny, Zarichne, Novoselivka and in the direction of Lyman, Novoselivka and Stavkiv.

In the Slavyansk direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled eight enemy attacks in the past day. The occupier units tried to advance in the areas of the settlements of Yampil, Serebryanka, Fedorivka, Siversk, Viyimka, and Zvanivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, six combat clashes with the enemy took place in the areas of Maiske, Vyrolyubivka, and Chasovy Yar.

In the Kostyantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 32 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Kostyantynivka, Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar, Stepanivka, Poltavka, Sofiivka and in the direction of Novopavlivka.

In the Pokrovsky direction, our defenders stopped 75 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Volodymyrivka, Bilytske, Nove Shakhove, Nykanorivka, Chervonyi Lyman, Myrnograd, Rodynske, Novoekonomichne, Pokrovsk, Sukhyi Yar, Kotlyne, Udachne, Shakhove, Molodetske, Novomykolaivka, Dachne, Filiya and in the direction of Novopidhorodne, Hryshyne, Kucheriv Yar, Vilne.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the Defense Forces repelled 21 attacks near the settlements of Zeleny Gay, Yalta, Andriyivka-Klevtsove, Oleksandrograd, Voskresenka, Stepove, Sosnivka, Verbove, Oleksiyivka, Pavlivka, Pryvilne, Krasnohirske, Zlagoda.

In the Hulyaipil direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders 14 times near the settlements of Dobropillya, Rivnopillya, Zeleny Hay, Vesele, Bilogirya, Vysoke, Ternuvaty and in the direction of Zatyshshya.

In the Orikhiv direction, the Defense Forces stopped one enemy offensive in the Stepnohirsk area.

In the Dnieper direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled one attack by the occupiers in the direction of the Antoniv Bridge.

Our soldiers inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces and actively undermine the enemy’s offensive potential in the rear.

In total , the losses of the Russian invaders over the past day amounted to 1,160 people . The enemy also lost two tanks, three armored combat vehicles, 17 artillery systems, one multiple launch rocket system, two air defense systems, 213 operational-tactical unmanned aerial vehicles, and 72 units of automotive equipment.
