General Staff report: Armed Forces of Ukraine have repelled 113 assaults by the Russian army since the beginning of the day

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published operational information as of 10:00 p.m. on March 7, 2026 regarding the Russian invasion.
In total, 113 combat clashes have occurred since the beginning of this day. The defense forces continue to stop the enemy, destroy personnel and exhaust the combat potential of the occupiers, inflicting systematic fire damage.
The enemy carried out one missile strike using 29 missiles and 58 air strikes – dropping 170 guided bombs. In addition, it used 6,562 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,471 shelling of settlements and positions of our troops.
In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions today, the enemy carried out 115 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements, including three using MLRS. It carried out three air strikes using eight CABs.
In the South-Slobozhansk direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units four times in the areas of the settlements of Grafske, Vilcha, Zybyne, and Pishchane. Two enemy assault actions are ongoing.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attacked four times in the areas of Pishchane, Kurylivka, Kivsharivka, and Novoosynovo. One attack is ongoing.
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled four attacks by the occupiers in the areas of Sredny, Novy Mir, and Drobysheve. One assault operation is ongoing.
In the Slavyansk direction, the enemy tried to advance 12 times towards Platonovka, Rai-Oleksandrivka, Kalenykivka, Dronivka, Zakitne, Riznykivka, and Pazeno. Three attempts to improve their position by the occupiers are still ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the aggressor attacked once in the Minkivka area.
In the Kostyantynivka direction, the invaders stormed the positions of our defenders 15 times today near the settlements of Kostyantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Shcherbynivka, Illinivka, Rusynyi Yar, Sofiivka, Novopavlivka. One enemy assault operation is ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy launched 19 attacks. The occupiers tried to advance in the areas of the settlements of Novy Donbas, Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Novopidhorodne, Nykanorivka, Shevchenko, Pokrovsk, and Hryshyne.
According to preliminary estimates, today in this direction 39 occupiers were eliminated and 23 were wounded; two units of motor transport were destroyed, nine shelters, 5 units of motor vehicles and 3 enemy artillery systems were damaged. 141 UAVs of various types were destroyed or suppressed.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the occupiers tried to improve their position three times, attacking in the Verbovoye and Novohrygorivka areas.
In the Hulyaipil direction, 11 attacks by the invaders took place: in the areas of Dobropillya, Zaliznychny, Varvarivka, Myrny, and Zeleny. Two attacks are ongoing.
The enemy did not launch any attacks in the Orikhiv direction.
No enemy assault actions were recorded in the Dnieper direction.
There were no significant changes in the situation in other areas.
