General Staff report: Armed Forces of Ukraine have repelled 137 assaults by the Russian army since the beginning of the day

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published operational information as of 10:00 PM on October 31, 2025 regarding the Russian invasion.

In total, 137 combat clashes have taken place since the beginning of this day. Ukrainian defenders are resolutely repelling the enemy’s attempts to advance deep into our territory, inflicting fire damage on it.

Today, Russian forces carried out 50 air strikes, dropping 106 guided bombs. In addition, they deployed 2,339 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,281 attacks on our troops’ positions and settlements.

In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, since the beginning of the day, Ukrainian soldiers have repelled nine assault actions by the occupiers. In addition, the enemy carried out 11 air strikes, dropping 26 guided bombs, and also carried out 153 shelling of the positions of our troops and settlements, six of which were from multiple launch rocket systems.

In the South Slobozhansk direction, the enemy three times stormed the positions of our units in the Vovchansk area and in the Dvorichansk and Kolodyazny directions.

In the Kupyansk direction, the aggressor carried out offensive actions in the area of Petropavlivka, Pishchane and in the directions of Novoplatonivka, Novoosynovo. Ukrainian defenders stopped nine enemy attacks, two more clashes are ongoing.

In the Lyman direction, Russian invaders attacked the positions of the Defense Forces nine times near Torske, Karpivka, Derylovye, and towards the settlements of Koroviy Yar and Lyman.

Ten assault operations were repelled by Ukrainian defenders in the Slavyansk direction – the occupiers tried to advance in the areas of Yampol, Dronivka, Serebryanka, Pereyzne, Siversk, and Viymka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the Defense Forces repelled one attack by the invaders in the Chasovy Yar area.

In the Kostyantynivka direction, the Russians launched 11 offensives against the positions of Ukrainian units in the Shcherbinivka, Pleshchiivka, Toretsk areas and in the direction of Sofiivka. Our soldiers have already stopped 10 enemy attacks.

In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the invaders have tried to advance on the positions of Ukrainian units 46 times. The enemy attacked in the areas of the settlements of Nykanorivka, Rodynske, Chervonyi Lyman, Myrnograd, Novoekonomichne, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Dachne, Lysivka, Novopavlivka, Pokrovsk, Zvirovo, Novoukrainka and in the direction of Hryshyne. In one location, the fighting has not subsided to this day.

According to preliminary data, today 104 occupiers were neutralized in this direction, 55 of them – irretrievably. Ukrainian soldiers also destroyed a vehicle, three motorcycles, 10 UAVs; three vehicles, one UAV control point, and six shelters for occupier personnel were also damaged.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy tried 16 times to break through the defenses of our defenders in the areas of the settlements of Verbovye, Pavlovka, Vyshneve, Zeleny Gay, Sosnivka, Vorone, Stepove, Krasnohirske and in the direction of the settlements of Orestopol, Rybne, Oleksiivka. Currently, three clashes are ongoing. Pokrovske was hit by an airstrike.

In the Hulyaipil direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders three times in the Novomykolaivka area and in the direction of Novy. Zaliznychne, Solodke, and Dorozhnyanka were hit by airstrikes.

In the Orikhiv direction, our soldiers repelled an assault by the invaders in the Novoandreivka area. Lukyanivske and Novoyakovlivka were subjected to airstrikes.

In the Prydniprovske direction, the enemy twice tried to approach our defenders, but was repulsed. The enemy launched an air strike in the Mykilske area.
