Geranei depot and UAV control points: Ukrainian Armed Forces hit a number of Russian targets

The Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a Russian Geran strike drone compound in the Bryansk region, as well as radar stations, drone control points, and a military facility in the Donetsk region.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The strikes were carried out on October 28 and on the night of October 29. In the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation, a warehouse storing Geran drones, fuel and lubricants, and two radar facilities were hit.

In particular, the Ukrainian military attacked:

  • A warehouse of “Geran” drones in the Bryansk region.
  • Two radar stations in the Starodub and Medvedovoye areas.
  • Two UAV control points in the Savlukovye and Vitovka areas.

In addition, a Russian military command and observation post near Novogrodovka was hit in the Donetsk region.

The General Staff noted that strikes on radar stations create gaps in the enemy’s radar field, and the destruction of the Geranei compound reduces its ability to attack Ukraine with drones.

As a reminder, on October 27 and on the night of October 28, the Defense Forces struck a Russian Tor-2M air defense system, a radar station, and an electronic warfare system in the Kursk and Bryansk regions. An occupier’s warehouse in the Donetsk region was also hit.

Earlier, on October 19, it was reported that a Russian radar station in the Bryansk region and ammunition depots in the Donetsk region had been hit .
