Germany announced a new aid package for Ukraine
Germany will provide Ukraine with 200 million euros in aid to strengthen its defense amid Russian attacks on energy infrastructure.
This is reported by the German publication NTV.
German Foreign Minister Johann Wadeful said that the funds will be used, in particular, to finance reconnaissance drones and support civil defense.
According to him, the new aid package should strengthen Ukraine’s ability to resist Russian attacks.
“This funding is intended to further strengthen Ukraine’s defense against Putin’s bombing. The aid strengthens Ukraine’s resilience,” the German Foreign Minister emphasized.
It was previously reported that Ukraine will receive the first tranche of $1.5 billion from the International Monetary Fund in the coming weeks.
As a reminder, the Japanese government is allocating 6.2 billion yen , which is about 41 million dollars, for Ukraine’s priority reconstruction needs.
