Germany has prepared a document that addresses a potential conflict between Russia and NATO – media

The German armed forces believe that Russia poses a serious threat to the country and Europe as a whole.

It is noted that for a year and a half, security experts have been developing a policy document that should become the basis for the future course of the Bundeswehr.

In particular, it focuses on the potential serious conflict between Russia and NATO, as the Kremlin is directing its state and economic structure towards this.

It is also noted that the Russian Federation is rapidly expanding its own army, which could consist of 1.5 million servicemen by 2026.

In addition, the document contains recommendations for expanding Germany’s military capabilities and civilian defense structures.

As a reminder, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte stated that Russia could attack the Alliance within the next 5 years.

As reported, Germany stated that the state must be prepared for aggression from Russia within the next four years.
